Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions set out the rights and obligations of The Organised Home and the Customer. The Terms and Conditions, the Order and the Order confirmation constitute the sales contract between The Organised Home Ltd and the website’s customer upon the sale of the ordered products.
The purpose of the Terms and Conditions is to define the rights and obligations of the Parties in the context of online selling of Products proposed in this e-shop by The Organised Home.
The customer acknowledges prior to placing the Order, that he has read and agreed to all information included in these Terms and Conditions.
2. Creating an Account
To place an Order on the website the Customer must create an account by completing a subscription form. The customer hereby states that all personal information provided is complete and accurate in order to proceed to his precise identification. While creating an account the Customer will choose a login and a password. The Customer must make sure not to disclose his login and password at any time. The Customer is responsible for all actions conducted on the website while using his login and password.
3. Placing an Order
A Customer may place an order on www.theorganisedhome.co.uk once logged in to his member account. While browsing the site the Customer may add a Product to his shopping bag by clicking the” add to bag” button. At any time until final Order confirmation, the Customer may change his mind, modify quantities or remove selected products.
Customers may also ask for Product information or place an order by calling Customer Service at 01923 593606 between 9.30 -11.30 am Monday and Wednesday.
The Organised Home may not be held responsible for any incorrect personal details nor for the consequences of any delays during the delivery process. As a result all return costs would be at the Customers charge.
By clicking on the “Submit” button the Order is an offer to The Organised Home to buy the goods on the website.
4. Confirmation of Order
Once the Order is confirmed by the Customer they will receive an acknowledgement of receipt by email to confirm the Order including ordered products, price, date of delivery and shipping costs.
5. Price and delivery costs
Prices are indicated in British Pounds inclusive of VAT. Products may also be purchased in Euro or American dollars at the days exchange rate.
The price fixed at the time of purchase is set and doesn’t include the shipping costs which are extra. These costs will be indicated in the summary of Order before payment. Delivery costs by Country can be looked up in the Delivery section of the website.
In the event of delivery outside the EU, the Customer will have to pay for Customs duties or VAT or any other taxes due to the import of products in the country of delivery.
The Customer undertakes to pay the total price of the Products and the shipping costs as stipulated on the website and also to pay for the customs duties or taxes due to the import of products in the country of delivery.
Payments can be made by the following methods:
*Credit Card (Mastercard, Visa American Express)
*Debit Card (Maestro)
The Organised Home reserves the right to claim the return of the ordered products in case of non full payment. Under these circumstances and at The Organised Home request, the Customer shall return any product for which payment has not been received. The Customer shall pay for any costs in connection therewith.
Products will be delivered to the address indicated by the Customer on the Order Form. An email will be sent to the Customer as soon as products are shipped.
If an Order contains Products deliverable on different dates , the Customer may choose to receive each product according to the delivery dates stated on the Product pages of each item, by contacting the customer Service. However this service may involve higher delivery costs to the Customer. If the Customer chooses to receive his Order in one batch, the longer delivery period indicated on the Product Pages will be the one to refer to.
Delivery shall be deemed to have been made when the Products are delivered to the Customer at the address indicated on the Order confirmation. The delivery note given by the Carrier to the customer and dated and signed will constitute evidence of transport and delivery.
The Organised Home advises the Customer to check the condition of the products upon delivery.
8. Product Compliance
The information on each product page is as given to The Organised Home by the suppliers. This includes pictures, technical specifications and descriptions. Products are verified in accordance with their descriptions by The Organised Home before shipment. However due to technical reasons (photographic and IT constraints) the actual product may differ slightly from pictures provided on the website.
The old distance selling regulations no longer apply in UK Law. As of 13th June 2014 the new Consumer Contracts Regulations implement the Consumer Rights Directive in UK Law to all purchases made at a distance. There are some goods you can't return if you simply change your mind. These include bespoke or personalised goods.
Other than the above, the customer can return an item within 7 days to The Organised Home. The customer is liable for their own return shipping costs. The customer may then choose an exchange or credit for the same amount.
Any goods returned must be packed in the original packaging. The Organised Home may claim refund to the Customer in the case of damaged products or goods which have been used or returned without due care. In order to process your return as quickly as possible, please contact email@example.com
9. Subscription Termination
The Customer may terminate his subscription at any time by addressing his request to Customer Services.
10. Intellectual Property Rights
All elements of the site are protected by copyright and remain the exclusive property of The Organised Home Ltd. The Organised Home’s trademark, Logo, figurative or otherwise and more generally all images, logos included on products and their packaging, registered or unregistered remain the exclusive property of The Organised Home Ltd.
Any partial or full representation , modification, or reproduction of all or part of the website or it’s contents without prior permission of The Organised Home is strictly forbidden.
11. Promotional Codes
You can use published promotional codes through our website only and not in conjunction with any other offer. You can participate in offers once only. Promotional codes are not valid against shipping rates. In the case of part-refunds, a percentage of the item’s value will be calculated and refunded as per the total order value. Promotional codes may only be redeemed against in-stock items and cannot be retained for usage beyond their expiry date.
12. Bespoke and Made To Order Items
If you wish to purchase a bespoke or made to order item, the order cannot be cancelled once it has been placed. Should you wish to return a bespoke item for any reason you must contact firstname.lastname@example.org within 7 working days from date of delivery to cancel your order. You must ensure the item is returned in a perfectly saleable condition and in the original packaging. Failure to do so may result in The Organised Home being unable to refund you. The Organised Home reserves the right to retain a 20% restocking administration fee. We are not responsible for any charges made by your credit card company whilst waiting for items to be refunded to your card.
Payment for all orders is at point of sale and not at point of dispatch. All prices are inclusive of VAT (where applicable) and are correct at the time of entering into the system. The total cost of your order is the price of the products ordered plus delivery. All credit card and debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
